Crescere in FITT

Enhancing and keeping skills up to date, nurturing talent, seizing the opportunities and challenges of innovation: these are the first steps to navigating a world in constant evolution and transformation. We promote a shared and participatory corporate culture, supporting the evolution of our work environments towards increasingly flexible, sustainable, fair and inclusive models. To this end, from the moment people join the company, we offer our people development paths and internal mobility opportunities, training and capability-building opportunities, personalised according to role, function and professional area.

We believe in the people who work at FITT. Before looking outside, we look within. We map skills and potential to understand where each person can contribute the most. This means creating concrete opportunities for advancement or role changes across different functions and businesses. Internal mobility is not the exception: it is a tool to enhance experience, process knowledge and corporate culture.

For those who choose to take on new challenges, new responsibilities and professional prospects open up.
For the organisation, it is a way to develop skills without losing the wealth of experience built over time.

Federico
"Right after completing my PhD, I joined FITT's research and development team, where I had the opportunity to fully leverage the technical skills I had developed during my studies. After just over a year in this role, however, I realised I was more inclined towards an organisational/management position. I therefore asked to move within the product development area, where I am now facing many challenging situations that allow me to develop cross-functional knowledge, which will be extremely valuable for the continuation of my career." Federico
Dragomir
"I started working at FITT in 2014, as a temporary worker. After the end of the contract and a short break, I was called back by FITT to return in the role of Toolmaker. In 2018 I then applied for an internal Job Posting to take on the role of Quality Operator within the Quality Team, until in 2021 I was offered the opportunity to become Production Planner for one of the departments at the Fara Vicentino Plant. After much deliberation I decided to accept this new challenge too, to put myself to the test and grow my skills!" Dragomir
Sofia
"I started working at FITT in 2007 as a member of the Customer Service Team, where I was mainly responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with B2B clients, especially German-speaking ones. Between 2018 and 2019 the company launched an internal Job Posting for the role of Customer Care Assistant. Driven by my desire for change and to take on new challenges — which are characteristic of me — I decided to apply, and a few months later I joined the Digital Team within the B&C area, thus beginning my new professional challenge." Ismael
"My story at FITT began in 2004 as an apprentice, when I was still a young lad. Later I was asked to support the shift supervisor, and eventually became a shift supervisor myself, until 2012, when I decided to return to my homeland: Brazil. But Italy has always held a special place in my heart, so after six years I decided, together with my family, to come back and build a life here. I returned to the great FITT team, where I had the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and carry out the same tasks as before. In February 2022 I was then entrusted with a new and exciting role, of which I am very proud: managing the PE department!" Ismael
Mirjana
"I became part of this great family that is FITT in 2003. After years of experience as a factory worker across the various Plants, I became part of the Horizon Team as an Ambassador of FITTPeople values. Driven by a desire for personal growth and with a good dose of courage, I decided to apply for an internal Job Posting to take on the role of Receiving Officer… and that was the turning point! I was given the chance to learn a completely new job, which turned out to be the job of my life, because every day I can also put into practice my knowledge of foreign languages, which I love." Mirjana

ONBOARDING

Joining FITT is a journey, not a formality. In the first few days, people take part in online and in-person meetings to get to know the Group, the business and ways of working, engaging with colleagues from different functions. The induction thus becomes a concrete experience: less initial distance, more clarity and confidence. Because feeling part of the organisation is the first step towards contributing.

TRAINING

Investing in training means making growth possible. Every year we activate technical and managerial programmes, working on specific and cross-functional skills such as collaboration and accountability. 16,941 hours of training delivered in 2025. Training strengthens skills and confidence in new roles. At the same time, it supports a shared culture and the quality of work over time.

INTERNAL TECHNICAL ACADEMY

Within the Innovation Hub we have created a technical programme for operators with potential. Participants work alongside experienced colleagues on extrusion, printing and knitting lines to develop operational skills and prepare for key roles. Those who take part gain concrete skills and new perspectives. For FITT, it is a strategic investment in know-how and industrial continuity.

TRANSPARENCY AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION

Growth comes through dialogue. With the Performance Dialogue we create a space for conversation between employees and managers on results, strengths and objectives. This helps each person find their direction and define next steps. For the organisation, it means strengthening a culture based on clarity and accountability.
