UNiTE 2025 – Orange the World: FITT Group’s commitment against digital gender-based violence

The FITT Group joins the UNiTE 2025 – Orange the World campaign on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, 25 November, turning its digital devices orange.

This commitment, which brings together institutions, businesses and citizens in the fight against violence against women, aligns with the Group’s broader social responsibility journey in recent years, marked by:
• the endorsement of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in 2024,
• the ongoing evolution of the People strategy, focused on inclusion, respect and wellbeing.

Focus of the 2025 edition

The UNiTE campaign aims to break the silence, foster a culture of respect and promote shared responsibility.
The 2025 edition highlights digital gender-based violence, an increasingly widespread and often invisible form of abuse with deep impacts on victims’ safety, dignity and daily lives.

Digital violence remains largely underestimated and includes various forms of online abuse that:
• affect women and girls worldwide,
• silence their voices, limiting freedom of expression and public participation, and causing psychological, social and economic harm,
• often precede or accompany offline violence, such as stalking, assault or femicide.

A symbolic gesture that becomes information

To help raise awareness, the FITT Group introduces a series of themed screensavers that not only adopt the campaign’s orange colour but also include short educational insights on key aspects of digital gender-based violence.
A simple yet meaningful gesture that brings informative content directly into everyday work tools.

FITT recognises the importance of collective action to build a future where women and girls can be free and safe — including in digital spaces.
