FITT introduces reusable packaging with Movopack, a concrete step toward circular logistics

As part of its ongoing commitment to responsible innovation and carbon footprint reduction, FITT has introduced reusable packaging for a selection of e-commerce orders through a strategic collaboration with Movopack, a European leader in reusable packaging solutions for e-commerce and retail. This move is in line with FITT’s role as a Benefit Company and a certified B Corp, and represents a further step toward sustainability throughout the value chain.

Movopack is a Milan-based company revolutionizing sustainable packaging through circular systems designed for e-commerce brands. Founded by lifelong friends Tomaso Torriani, Alberto Cisco, and Andrea Cipollone, Movopack offers customizable, returnable packaging paired with an efficient reverse logistics system that helps brands eliminate single-use waste. With over 100 clients across Italy and the UK, Movopack enables companies to reduce emissions, cut costs, and turn their packaging into a powerful storytelling tool that reflects their unique identity.

Movopack’s reusable packaging system offers a durable, lightweight, and returnable solution designed to be reused for over 20 shipping cycles. Each packaging unit used by FITT can be easily returned by customers, who simply scan the QR code placed on the pack and drop it into any postbox across Europe at no additional charge.

The transition to reusable packaging generates immediate environmental benefits: due to reusable packaging, FITT will be able to cut up to 75% of CO₂ emissions, 72% of energy usage, and 75% of water consumption, compared to a single-use cardboard. Moreover, it allows to reduce up to 98% packaging waste.

Already adopted for a segment of FITT’s online shipments, the system is being evaluated for broader implementation. Its seamless integration into FITT’s logistics flows ensures minimal adjustments for internal teams and a frictionless experience for end users.

This initiative strengthens FITT’s role as a front-runner in circular business models both in product innovation, and packaging and logistics, which reflects the company’s broader approach to sustainability.
