A financial comeback which is not only based on turnover but on an increase in the value of business activities, as shown by the EBITDA markers on the operational revenues of companies.<\/p>\n<p>A study performed by the\u00a0<strong>Department of Business Economics of the University of Verona\u00a0<\/strong>and by the professional network\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwc.com\/it\/it.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>PwC<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>examined as many as\u00a0<strong>15,000 local companies<\/strong>, showing how the\u00a0<strong>growth<\/strong>\u00a0trend is around\u00a0<strong>2.7%<\/strong>. It is believed that\u00a0<strong>three key factors\u00a0<\/strong>are the strongest drivers for growth:\u00a0<strong>high technology, industrial know-how and design<\/strong>, areas of innovation that are drawing more and more investments, indicating that people are more prone to take on business risks than in the past.<\/p>\n<p>Another important driving force is\u00a0<strong>export<\/strong> which is an initial phase in the corporate internationalisation process. Companies are starting to break into foreign markets, gaining a strong firm foothold (directly overseeing their business affairs via local partners\/self-owned distribution firms) &#8211; a phenomenon not to be mistaken in any way for a relocation process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gathered around a<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>table\u00a0<\/strong>moderated by the\u00a0<strong>journalist Marino Smiderle<\/strong>, the various speakers were asked to tell others about their own growth strategy and the prime factors were highlighted and balanced against each other.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FITT&#8217;s<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>CEO Alessandro Mezzalira<\/strong>\u00a0stressed how important it had been for the company to build up the\u00a0<strong>Vision<\/strong>\u00a0project and how many rewards were for the reaping by putting turnover temporarily on the back burner whilst a\u00a0<strong>carefully planned transformation takes place<\/strong> &#8211; a game plan which focuses on people and new talents, involving essential links with the Academic world and the Research sector.
